Gösta Serlachius Fine Arts Foundation's collection is one of the most impressive private art collections in the Nordics. It's located in Mäntta-Vilppula, a beautiful art town in the middle of Finnish countryside.
Challenge
Serlachius Museums has loads to offer art and nature lovers alike. Add the myriad attractions in Mäntta-Vilppula and it's a great day out. However, its location makes it tricky to visit without planning. Serlachius wanted to show Finns and foreigners alike why the effort is well worthwhile.
Solution
We proposed a campaign "Far out art with an historic heart" that played on the distance and unique history of the Serlachius family. Our aim was to show why a visit to Serlachius is good for the soul, the brain and the belly with a series of three videos.
Outcome
The campaign smashed all expectations, reaching nearly a million people in Finland and abroad. What's more, it generated a wealth of positive feedback on all the VFP social channels it was promoted on, including from the Mayor of Mänttä himself. Serlachius also used the videos on their own channels and trade fairs to promote their marvellous museums.
